The RoleAs AV Operations Manager, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day AV operation within the venue, working closely with clients, technicians, venue teams and the wider production operation.

- Provide on-site support during events and coordinate solutions to any technical or operational issues.

- Prepare quotations, technical proposals and standard room/set solutions to help clients visualise their events.
- Identify opportunities to expand event requirements across AV, production, video and additional technical services.
- Monitor upcoming events, equipment requirements, quotations and revenue to ensure the operation remains organised and commercially effective.
- Build strong relationships with venue sales, banqueting, front-of-house and operational teams.
- Work closely with wider production, warehouse and technical teams to coordinate equipment and additional support.
- Manage equipment movements and ensure clear systems are maintained around technical requirements and availability.
- Support tenders, pre-production and planning for larger events and dry-hire productions.
- Manage operational expenditure effectively, making the best use of internal equipment and crew before outsourcing.
- Develop strong long-term client relationships, helping convert one-off venue customers into repeat accounts.
- Monitor service levels, gather client feedback and implement improvements across the venue operation.
- Support the development of venue-specific sales and marketing initiatives alongside internal and venue teams.
- Experience within AV, technical production or live events.
- A good understanding of audio-visual equipment and live event delivery.
- Experience coordinating technicians, equipment and event logistics.
- Confidence working directly with clients and translating their requirements into practical technical solutions.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple events and priorities.

- Supported volunteering opportunities
